Road up to Citenje
Pretty rubbish weather today so we thought we head up and over the mountains that rise out of the ocean here and visit a town called Citenje which was a medieval city about 40 kms away up and over the hills.

As we went up the road we could see what we thought were clouds enveloping the road but in actual fact was the worst fog I have ever seen.  Worse than the fog from a few days ago when we drove down.

I had the hazard lights on and was driving at between 30 and 40km/hr.  Incredible stuff.  The photos are no exaggeration of how bad it actually was.

Road down from Citenje
As bad as the fog was we thought that by heading up we'd eventually get above the fog and into decent weather because at least it wasn't raining.  We cleared the fog as we thought we might but straight into heavy rain that wouldn't end.  We pulled up in the town, cut a few laps, waiting for the rain to stop or at least ease up and when it didn't we headed back down the mountain and into the pea soup again.

Cut our losses then and there and drove to a small place outside of Tivat and went to the ten pin bowling alley we'd seen the day before.  €12 an hour for the lane and shoes which was good value.  We stayed for 2 hours and had some pizzas and mucked about trying to knock some pins down.  All good fun.

Harry might have beaten his Dad in one game. (As my Dad says "even the blind chook finds some food".)

Stray observation:  Every single town in ever single country we have been in has got better internet than we have in Australia.
