Singapore

Some sort of mad Chinese temple.
Stinking hot and humid.  Just like we remembered it.

Borrowed Paul’s car and drove into Orchard Road to look at a few of the shops and then took the MRT (subway) to Chinatown for a look.   A local’s lunch at the hawker for the massive cost of $15 SGD and then a stroll through the hundreds of stalls selling cheap junk of which, of course, the boys wanted to stop at every single one.

Hawker food.
The heat and the 110% humidity finally beat us and it was home for a swim at the condominium complex our friends live at.
Black pepper crab

Dinner at East Coast Parkway.  Singapore chilli crab, black pepper crab, steamed groper, crispy whole duck and other assorted accruements washed down with Tiger beer.  Brilliant.
